The Tempo 525N-30 is a rugged, dependable smart cable acceptance testing instrument built for high-count fiber optic cable environments where accuracy, speed, and reliability are non-negotiable. Designed for telecom and datacom acceptance testing, the 525N-30 simplifies link loss testing in the field, helping technicians verify fiber optic cable performance quickly and confidently.

Featuring an easy-to-use one-button AUTOTEST ensures the user is guided through the measurement to obtain dual-wavelength (850/1300nm or1310/1550nm) bi-directional insertion loss measurements. Plus, the 525N single-mode family of products has a return loss measurement mode.

The large backlit display and sealed membrane panel allows for use in the harshest of locations. The 525N can store up to 1500 measurement records to be downloaded to a database manager that can organize and print certification reports.

Internal rechargeable batteries power the 525N. When fully charged, the 525N provide 8 hours of continuous operation.
