The SLS5XX Series Fiber Optic Light Sources provide technicians with a rugged, reliable solution for fast and accurate insertion loss testing on singlemode and multimode fiber networks.

Available with dual- and triple-wavelength laser sources as well as a dual-wavelength LED source, the SLS5XX Series supports a wide range of fiber installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting applications. Laser source options cover 1310, 1490, 1550, 1625, and 1650 nm, while the LED source supports 850 and 1300 nm for multimode fiber testing.

The SLS5XX Series also supports 270 Hz, 1 kHz, and 2 kHz tone generation, helping technicians identify and trace individual fibers when used with compatible fiber test equipment. Interchangeable SC, LC, FC, and ST bulkheads provide added flexibility across different fiber connector types.

Built for demanding field conditions, the SLS5XX features a rugged IP54-compliant design with industry-leading shock and vibration resistance.
