OPM and SLS Kits for all Your Applications

Tempo’s T5600 + T5800 Optical Power Meter and Light Source Kits provide a complete range of optical power meters and stabilized light sources designed for fiber optic installation, diagnostic testing, troubleshooting, and acceptance testing.

Built for technicians who need accurate results without adding extra steps to the job, the series combines high-accuracy optical measurements, automatic wavelength synchronization, Bluetooth connectivity, automated testing, and field-ready reporting in one easy-to-use platform.

Tempo optical power meters support calibrated wavelengths from 850 nm to 1650 nm, with up to 10 wavelengths available, and deliver accuracy of ±0.09 dB across the operating envelope.

Simplify Multi-Wavelength Testing
Matched-set tone pairing allows the optical power meter to automatically synchronize with each wavelength transmitted by the compatible light source. Set your reference once and get to work—no manual wavelength syncing, fewer opportunities for setup errors, and less time spent pushing buttons when you could be finishing the job.

For multi-wavelength light sources, supported configurations also provide automatic testing, allowing the system to measure each wavelength and display clear results through the Tempo Field Capture app.

Capture Results and Build Reports in the Field
Every T5600 Series optical power meter includes Bluetooth connectivity for use with the free Tempo Field Capture app.

The app can capture test readings with location information and organize results into an acceptance report while you work. Once testing is complete, technicians can generate Excel or PDF reports that are ready to send to the customer before leaving the site.

Configurations for PON, Telco, and Fiber Acceptance Testing
The T5600 and T5800 Series includes configurations designed for common fiber testing applications:
With a compatible stabilized light source on site, technicians can begin testing as soon as splicing is complete instead of waiting for light from the customer headend or hub.
Built for the Jobsite
Matched kit configurations are available for common acceptance-testing applications, with kits including a soft carrying case, adapter set, and 3-year warranty.
The instruments operate on two AA batteries, with USB-C available as an alternative power source. T5600 Series optical power meters provide up to 300 hours of battery life, helping technicians stay productive without constantly stopping to recharge.
Key Features
Test fiber accurately. Document it automatically. Move on to the next job.

A fiber loss test is only as useful as the measurement behind it.

The T5600 Series Optical Power Meters use InGaAs detectors to provide accurate optical power measurements across a broad range of fiber networks.

Both T5600 models provide ±0.09 dB calibration accuracy and 10 calibrated wavelengths from 850 to 1650 nm, covering common multimode, singlemode, PON and XGS-PON wavelengths.

T5610 Optical Power Meter For standard telco, FTTH, PON, enterprise and data center applications.

T5620 High-Power Optical Power Meter For amplified MSO/CATV and other high-power optical networks.

Accurate insertion-loss testing requires more than an optical power meter. You also need a stable optical source at the wavelengths used by the network you're testing.

That's where the T5800 Series Stabilized Light Sources comes in.

The T5800 family provides singlemode and multimode configurations covering common telecommunications, enterprise, data center, PON and maintenance wavelengths.

1. T5820 — Dual-Wavelength Singlemode Light Source 1310 / 1550 nm

Designed for standard singlemode fiber loss testing across FTTH, outside plant, telecommunications and enterprise networks.

2. T5825 — Dual-Wavelength Multimode Light Source 850 / 1300 nm

A dual-LED source for multimode fiber testing in data center and LAN environments.

3. T5830 — Triple-Wavelength PON Light Source 1310 / 1490 / 1550 nm

A triple-laser source for GPON/PON fiber testing where multiple network wavelengths need to be verified.

4. T5835 — Triple-Wavelength 1625 nm Light Source 1310 / 1550 / 1625 nm

Built for singlemode testing that includes 1625 nm maintenance and out-of-band applications.
